The main aim of the VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology (A&P Level 3) is to enable you to gain the necessary underpinning knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology required by the complementary therapies, beauty therapy, sport and fitness industry. This qualification is suitable for beginners looking to start their career in beauty or aesthetics learners aged 16 and over and is designed to provide occupational competence at level 3. It also provides a solid platform into further training at level 3,4 and 5.

Study at your own pace at home: This is an online course with 24 hour access to our learning portal. Which gives you greater flexibility to plan your studies around work or family commitments.
Full tutor support is available via phone, email and scheduled webinar zoom sessions.
Once you have you completed your home study and workbook you will attend the academy for your final exam this will be a morning or afternoon session. The multiple choice exam takes up 1.5 hours to complete.
You can expect to be completed and certified within 8 weeks and you have maximum of 12 months to complete the course
What qualifications do I need to take this course ?
No prerequisites ! This course is suitable for beginners. You will need access to a PC or laptop to complete the modules and workbook.
You must be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently.
What other things do I need to do? You will need to ensure that you can dedicate time for self-study, written work skills to ensure that you can achieve the expected level and standards that the course demands.
What qualification will I receive on successful completion of the course?
You will gain the VTCT Level 3 Award in Anatomical and Physiological Knowledge of Body Systems
What are my career progression options? On achievement of your level 3 qualification, you can then progress onto Level 3 electrical treatments, Level 4 Laser IPL advanced aesthetics and skincare qualifications such as our Elite Skin practitioner package it also provides a clear pathway into the aesthetics industry including anti wrinkle and dermal filler courses.
